To start 2014, we have been working diligently on our new record. As far as life shows go, we started on a different note all together. We have played two acoustic trio shows; one at Standing Sun Winery in Buellton, California. The other in Santa Barbara, California at Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company. Those shows gave us a really good push for our full-scale rock tour this March. The energy from the acoustic trio shows really pushed us in the right direction to be prepared and excited for our tour with Queen Caveat.
We started this year off by playing at The Viper Room on Sunset. The show really showcased that Sad Robot has evolved from our last record, 1.0 which was our debut album as the trio we are today. Our new single Young echoes the idea that we can carve our place in this generation. On tour, this March, we will be playing mostly new tracks from our forthcoming full-length album. Which should be out later this year.
