Savannah Sgro – CRAZY TOUR STORIES

In this Crazy Tour Stories segment, the electro pop artist, Savannah Sgro, shares one of her stories from being on the road. You can check out the story, after the break.

I have been touring with Sofar for about a year now. There was one time that I was driving from Nashville to Lexington, KY which is maybe 4 hours, and was starving. I dropped my keyboard and stuff off at the art gallery we were performing at and then found this hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. I walked in and got food and they were BLASTING mariachi music videos through the speakers and TVs. This was around 5 pm and everyone in the entire restaurant was having the best time and just was screaming the words to the songs while being trashed. It was the funniest welcome to a new city. HAHA

Another time, I drove from Nashville to West Lafayette, IN. I went on this road trip with my roommate. The show was a fun time in general because I was first in the line up of the show, and did my sad pop thing, and then there was a rapper that had a puddle of sweat on the ground from dancing around and jumping, and then a worship duo. QUITE A VARIETY HAHAHA, the show ended and my roommate and I drove back 5 and a half hours and got home around 3 am!!! A good Saturday night. Hahaha
