Secret Weapons – TOUR TIPS

In this Tour Tips segment, the alternative pop band, Secret Weapons, give you their tips for being on tour. You can check out the feature, after the break.

1. Befriend security – They are the gatekeepers. If you need a hand, or if you want to invite a friend backstage who may not have the credentials, a friendly relationship with Security Guy Joe will make life a whole lot easier.

2. Show clothes – Wear the same performance outfit until it starts to stink. If you change outfits every night, next thing you know you have an entire suitcase of mildly stinky clothes. (Side note – Always pack more socks than you think you need. You’ll need them.)

3. Put on some dang pajamas for those long drives. You ain’t impressing anyone in your wheels

4. Master your favorite gas station and tour bus meals. Get creative, you have no other choice! Canned pineapple + pizza bagel + McDs BBQ sauce.

5. Get used to “hurry up and wait”.
