Serianna – 1st ROAD BLOG from their “Trust Management Tour” w/ Everyone Dies in Utah

The first day of the Thrust Management Tour (with Everyone Dies in Utah and A Faylene Sky) for us was a pretty stressful one. Our first date was supposed to be at Penny Road Pub in Barrington, IL on 9/21 but we noticed our trailer lights were not working. Since we will be on tour for two months straight we quickly took the van and trailer to the mechanic at 10:30 am to get them fixed before we had to leave. It wasn’t until 7:50 pm that they were able to partially fix our lights (enough to get us through tour safely). Obviously we missed our first show so we drove straight to Michigan. After driving through Indiana our trailer lights went out once again. We pulled off the road and slept until morning where we took it to a different mechanic. He noticed the problem right away and told us it was a simple fuse. We made the show on time in Custer, MI and had a great time. It was a roller rink and the bands setup in the center so kids could skate around us. It wasn’t the most normal venue, but it was definitely fun! The next day in Southgate was canceled so we spent the night at our good buddy Chris Salyers’ house. Club 789 was our next stop and we met some great people there, as well as made friends with the venue owners. We had quit the drive to Ohio’s Refuel Ignite but once we got there, we realized our lights went out yet again so our good buddy Justin (an electrician) in Everyone Dies In Utah took a peek and found a wire in our trailer sparking against the metal lining causing the fuses to pop. We played wall ball with Everyone Dies In Utah against a brick building before the show which was sick! The venue Refuel Ignite had a shower we were all able to use so that was the icing on the cake of a great day. Moving forward, Rochester, NY was our next stop at the Water Street Music Hall which is such a huge piece of musical history! It was an honor to play there and had a great time doing so. The next day being Wednesday was also in New York in Albany. We decided it was a great time to do laundry so we did a couple loads before the show so we smelled nice and clean. We also took the opportunity to get an authentic slice of New York pizza! The show was great and fortunately a few fans let us shower at their apartment after the show which was so rad. It’s rare to find such hospitality like that, especially with people you’ve never met before. Our next stop is Manchester, New Hampshire! Be sure to check our friends A Faylene Sky and Everyone Dies In Utah.
