The Settlement – DREAM TOUR

In this Dream Tour segment, the alternative folk band, The Settlement, let you know who they would like on their ultimate tour lineup. You can check out the feature, after the break.

Well, there’s two ways to look at this. We could list all some of our fav. artists like Lemon Twigs, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Kings of Leon, Paul Simon. But we know none of these people personally, so to go on tour with them could be risky, they could be absolute dicks for all we know. So we are going to have to talk about bands we know personally and love.

First up – Harrison Storm
The young lad from Mornington Peninsula, Vic, Australia. We’ve known this guy for a while now and not only are his tunes unbelievable but he is a decent lad who holds good morals in regard to art and the music industry. We would definitely take him on tour, not only to hear his songs but also for his little immature fun attitude he has when he’s had too many to drink.

Bill
Like a little brother to us. Always pushing and always having a crack. We love his tunes but also love the way he can level me out with one sentence, which from time to time I definitely need. Recently he has just finished recording his debut album with Haz our drummer, we are frothing to hear it.

Centre & The South
Our reggae brothers. These guys bring the fun. From frisbee flipping to hedge hoggin’ to parkour fails. We have been band buddies for many years, they’ve survived the “grind” years and are destined for big things.

We love all the above for the people they are, first and foremost, it just happens that tunes brought us all together. So basically that’s our dream tour (we would add Kane Sole if he let us).
