SHIELDS – DREAM TOUR

Most bands would probably list the artists they would most like to tour with for this feature but for us, I think our dream tour would just be one that goes without a hitch. No matter how hard we try we always either leave an integral piece of gear at home, lose a band member, break down (mentally and/or the tour van), get in a brawl, leave a laptop containing years of songs on a plane, end up in jail, end up sleeping on the street, miss the flight, miss the ferry and in Tom’s case throw up on his snare mid-song.

A dream tour would be one where none of that happened. It would be amazing to not have anxiety dreams before and after a tour in which I’m playing to a thousand people and then I look down and I have no trousers on and all my band members are playing Wonderwall but through fuzz pedals and my old head teacher is staring at me, disapprovingly shaking his head.

It would also be pretty cool to have 6 band line up world tour consisting of us, Everything Everything, CarIbou, LCD Sound System, and Tame Impala.
