SkyDxddy – DREAM TOUR

In this Dream Tour segment, the dark pop artist, SkyDxddy, reveals who she would want on her ultimate tour lineup. You can check out their picks, after the break.

Monsters Ink is my latest release and it’s based off of using your mental illnesses to your advantage. The thought of being able to go on a worldwide tour despite all of my personal baggage makes me feel so proud and I will fight to make it happen.

My dream tour would be me with NF and Hopsin. Both of these artists played a crucial role in my journey as a rap artist.

NF is funnily enough the main reason why I am an artist, years ago my manager and girlfriend introduced me to his music and told me that I could use my story and create something similar to what NF makes. Mansion, Therapy Session, The Search all played important roles in my growth and what I was allowed to vent about. Something I once felt was taboo was suddenly giving me strength because I’m still here regardless.

There was always something strong that drew me to Hopsin, much like NF his lyricism takes you to places that are so detailed and true, I strive to write with the same clarity and cunning that they both write with. While at the same time embracing a sense of darkness and vulnerability that makes you feel safe and content. Like being home.

Both of these artists are someone I would die to perform live with, a worldwide tour of helping survivors, and outcasts know they are not alone. My songs like Triggered and All Alone would resonate in the same way Mansion does and then Ill Mind of Hopsin 7 would open up important questions that I dig further into when addressing the LGBTQIA+ regarding beliefs, and religious trauma.

There would be a feeling of safety and harmony because every show would be full of people that… get it. That feel it because they’ve lived through it.
