SomeKindaWonderful – 2nd ROAD BLOG from New Politics’ “Everywhere I Go Tour”

The rock band, SomeKindaWonderful, is currently on tour supporting New Politics on their “Everywhere I Go Tour,” alongside Bad Suns, this fall. While they are on this tour, they will be doing an a blog for us. You can check out the first entry (with photos), written by Matt Gibson, after the break.

Our second week of the #EverywhereIGoTour was great. I feel like our shows are getting better, and we are definitely partying harder. The week started in Atlanta with a killer show and a delicious candy/liquor arrangement we were given from a fan. As you can imagine, the liquor didn’t last long, haha.

The next day was New Orleans, probably the city I was most excited to go to. I had never been there before, but I was under the impression that the whole city pretty much revolves around live music and around the clock partying. I was correct in my assumption. Right after the show we posted up in front of the venue by our van and did some drinking on the street (something that we can’t legally do in either Cleveland or LA, so that itself was cool).

At this point I saw Will Ferrel. Yes… the man, the myth, the legend: WILL FERREL. He was walking down the street and I spotted him instantly. Without hesitation, I asked him to take a picture with me, but he just kept walking and said he had some things to do. I just kinda stood there shocked that he turned me down, but still excited to have just interacted with the one and only, Will Ferrel. Then I chased him down the road to ask him again and he just kept walking. Maybe he was having a bad day or something, but it’s ok because I just went ahead and made my own picture of us together and it’s like it really happened.
