Sophia Gripari – DREAM TOUR

In this Dream Tour segment, the electro pop artist, Sophia Gripari, reveals who she would want on her ultimate tour lineup. You can check out their picks, after the break.

The idea of going on tour and playing live shows is such a foreign concept right now! With that being said, it has been really cool seeing artists get creative during the pandemic and put on virtual live shows to try and give fans the best possible ‘live show experience’ from their own homes. When tours can safely start up again, there are a few people that I would absolutely love to have on a line-up.

1) I have been obsessed with Oh Wonder since I heard their music on Soundcloud years ago. Eventually, when they released their debut album, it very quickly became my favourite album and one of the only ones I could listen to all the way through without even thinking about skipping a song. I went to see them live in London at The Village Underground and it was one of the best live shows I have ever been to. I loved how much of it they played themselves, whether it was on the piano, guitar, bass, MIDI controllers, etc. I love when singers incorporate other instruments into their live shows. Their music is also pretty flawless in my opinion so having them on my dream line-up is kind of a no-brainer!

2) I saw H.E.R live a couple of years ago and her performance was insane. She also rips mad guitar solos which are always amazing to watch. Her vocals are crazy live, I love her songwriting, both lyrically and melodically and the live arrangements of her songs work so well.

3) Dua Lipa would definitely have to be on my dream line-up. Future Nostalgia is such a great album and seeing her perform some of her best songs on her virtual live show ‘Studio 2054’ was nuts. The production value of the show was next-level so I can only imagine the quality and energy that she’s going to give off when live shows start up again.
