Spencer Sutherland – 2nd ROAD BLOG from “The Dangerous Tour” with Before You Exit

The pop artist, Spencer Sutherland, is currently on “The Dangerous Tour” supporting the pop/rock band, Before You Exit. During this tour, he will be writing an exclusive blog for us. You can check out his second entry, with pictures, after the break.

RALEIGH NC:

Wow heading to Raleigh super excited for day one of the Dangerous tour and hoping for a little warmth. Long cold winter! Buh – ready for some sun! Whoa – Hit this crazy unexpected ice storm in the middle of the night! Trip should have been 8 hours and it took 12 intense hours! Even saw a semi run off the highway and into a building that caught fire. It was so surreal. Its 3:30am gonna get a few hours of sleep. If I can. At 8am I have to perform on a live on the TV show My Carolina Today in Raleigh NC. I have so much fun doing those TV appearances.

Wow the Carolina Today staff and crew were super cool. Leaving now and headed directly to the venue to do pre show press and meet n greets! The weather is soupy — dark, cold rainy but I just dont care cause I just cant wait to perform. My parents flew in from Ohio to see me. Love em! Also some friends from my old high school drove down! That was sweet! No sound check – worried me at first but we just worked through it. Just finished a post show meet and greet – loved meeting new fans!

Had a chance to meet the guys from Before You Exit – super cool and friendly! My first show felt amazing. Definitely a good vibe on first stop.

PHILADELPHIA PA:

First time to Philly and it was awesome! It was great to have a day off before the show. It was so fun to just run around the city and do some touristy stuff and get some fun photos — Running up the steps from the movie Rocky, got some cheesesteaks from Gino’s and even saw the Liberty Bell. We rolled up to the concert venue to see a line of girls at the door, which is always awesome. World Music Cafe was a Super cool place to play. Amazing sound system! And the fans got to be right next to the stage which I love being close to them. Can’t wait to come back to Philly!

FREEHOLD NJ:

Jersey was CRAZY! I had a few pre show interviews before the show, which were so fun! A few people knew who I was which is mind blowing to me! This show was so loud!!! I loved interacting with the fans more than ever during this show. The meet n greet after the show was pretty crazy too! I kissed a lot of cheeks haha. I will definitely be coming back to Jersey soon!

BOSTON MA:

Wow LOVE Boston! So many cool little neighborhoods, shops and places to eat. And baseball is my sport of choice someways loving Fenway – home of the Red Soxs. We stayed in Boston on our day off to shoot part of a music video. It was SO cold but really cool footage. My feet got soaked and I bought actual Red Socks and wore the for the show. I am lucky enough to have family there and they brought out a whole fan club to the concert! The crowd was so responsive which I feed off of! The show was sick and we had a long awesome meet n greet. A hard city to leave for sure. Looking forward to coming back!
