Spritely – DREAM TOUR

In this Dream Tour segment, the indie pop artist, Spritely, lets you know who she would like on her ultimate tour lineup. You can check out the feature, after the break.

My dream tour would include the eclectic mix of me, Death Cab for Cutie and Jonsi. Everyone knows Death Cab—their sound, their songs, and Ben’s lyrics (oh my god) are such an inspiration. They are my favorite band on earth and probably my biggest inspiration.

Jonsi is an Icelandic musician with a sound like tribal meets pop meets post-rock orchestra. The sounds coming out of that man are a purely spiritual experience. I feel like going on tour with him would heal my soul. He has the most stunning live set design I have ever seen, from the costumes to the sketched animation of animals and nature playing in the background. It’s rustic and whimsical and transports me into a fairytale.

Where would I fit in? I guess after Death Cab and before Jonsi. Spritely is somewhere in the middle of the emo indie-rock and the pop-spiritual experiences.
