State to State – PRESHOW RITUALS

In this Preshow Rituals segment, the rock band, State to State, share what they do before taking the stage. You can check out the feature, after the break.

As the unofficial witch doctor of the band, Andrew (guitarist) usually centers himself through the use of herbal supplements and/or enjoying a nutritious pre-show superfood shake.Shea’s (vox) pre-show ritual is to kick everyone out of the van and warm up his voice for 30 minutes. Usually warming up for only 10 minutes, the rest of the time spent clearing his head (with Jameson). Feudor (drummer) abstains from any and all masturbatory activities for a week leading up to the gig, the same way a prize fighter refrains from any Dingus useage. Patrick (bassist) likes to scour antique shops the day of the show for rare items specifically between the years 1892-1923. He proceeds to bury said items in various locations all around LA. Once the band has “made it” and is bigger than Justin Bieber, Patrick plans to have a treasure map made for the fans so they can go on a treasure hunt to find his hidden gems. Don’t be surprised if you find State To State fans digging in your back yard sometime next year. Patrick also likes having a beer before the show.
