stef – FIRST CONCERT EVER

In this First Concert Ever segment, the electro pop artist, stef, talks about the story of her first experience with live music. You can check out the story, after the break.

In middle school, my favorite artists were Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, and Miley Cyrus.

The summer before my 8th-grade year, Justin Bieber’s Believe Tour was coming to Atlanta.

My two best friends and I saved up our money so that we could buy 2nd-row seats. We got to the concert and our seats were right near the catwalk.

Cody Simpson was his first opener, and lucky enough I grabbed his hand.

This small artist (at the time) named Ariana Grande opened for him and she was great. I knew her from her role in the Broadway musical “13”. It’s amazing to see her growth from then to now.

Justin was on stage after her and we danced, sang and screamed for 2 hours. I was right next to the stage and at one point I got to touch his hand as well. His stage presence, voice, and choreography did not disappoint. He is definitely someone I look up to as a performer. The work he did at such a young age is very hard to comprehend.
