Stephen Flickner – DREAM TOUR

Ed Sheeran
Go big or go home, right? I think I stand for more than a few solo acts when I say playing along side Ed Sheeran would be a dream come true. I think his level of success has been able to show people that it’s possible to break into the music industry with hard work and an acoustic guitar. Obviously, he’s an incredible musician, but the story of how he made a name for himself and accomplished everything he did is one of pure consistency and dedication, and that’s really inspiring to me.

EDEN
EDEN seems to be making quite the name for himself right now with his own kind of alternative style. I think the music he makes is new, and it’s really unlike anything else I’ve ever heard, which is exciting. He is fairly new in the music industry, which makes him seem like a slightly more practical addition to any dream tour of mine. Our voices are also shockingly similar – I think it’s pretty funny. Now that I think about it, a tour with two people whose voices are almost exactly the same could be really awesome or it could just be straight up weird. I’d still do it!

JOHN MAYER
I’m not even going to pretend to begin to compare myself to a legend here, but I do have to pay my respects to this man. I’m not sure I could actually do a tour with him because the skill Mayer has would probably just make me feel terrible, but at least I’d be able to say I did it. While most people know Mayer primarily because of his guitar playing, I think his lyrics are just outstanding. I’ve tried countless times to write lyrics with a similar vibe to it but I don’t think I (or anyone else) can. I think he’s an alien or something.
