Sam’s first gig
My first ever gig was Buzzcocks at the O2 Academy Liverpool. I was only young at the time and somehow managed to still get extremely drunk on warm overpriced beer. Buzzcocks played a great set and I managed to remember all of it.
Chay’s first gig
The first gig I ever went to was probably Weatus at the Royal Court in Liverpool when I was 7. It was my sister’s 14th birthday party but her and her mates couldn’t get in without my mum so I went along! I don’t remember much but I remember teenage dirtbag and then trying to make a drum kit out of various household items when I got home.
Luke’s first gig
The first gig I ever went to was a French band called Air at the Summer Pops in Liverpool, while it was still in the big tent.
My dad took me ‘cause he was a fan. I must have only been about 11/12 so I wasn’t really into them like I am now, plus we were miles away. There was a fella sat next to us with a pair of binoculars! I just remember being more made up with my boss new glow in the dark pen at the time. My mate had one as well and we spent most of the gig running up and down aisles playing with them.
Tom’s first gig
Mine was probably some kind of matinee performance at the Zanzibar, most likely to see the Ladykillers (a band Chay was in that I would later join). There were probably about 4 other bands of 14/15/16-year-olds on. So yeah, not the most interesting but a formative experience.
Keep up with the band on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
