The Summer Set’s “The Stories For Monday tour brought them along with Call Me Karizma and Handsome Ghost to Bottom Lounge in Chicago.
“Do what you wanna do. 99% of people are just pissed they can’t do what you do.” said frontman, Call Me Karizma to the crowd during his set. Coming onto the stage throwing balloons into the crowd, he made sure people had a good time. Singing fun and catchy songs such as “You Suck”, “ F u til I F u again”, “Thank God for the Summer”, “Love Me Right”, and more, he had everyone dancing. He was very inspiring and gave mini pep talks to the crowd making sure they knew he was someone they could come to if they needed help or someone to listen to. He was also around after his set to meet everyone and sign and take pictures.

Up Next was Handsome Ghost. Playing songs from their EP, Ghost, as well as “Graduate”, and a cover by The 1975. They were very unique in their sound and seemed like they were having fun as they played. They kept the night rolling in keeping the crowd pumped and ready. They too were around after the show meeting people and taking pictures.

The Summer Set closed out the night. From the moment they took the stage, til they left, everyone was singing and dancing along. “There’s something amazing going on here, I can tell”, said Brian Logan Dales to the crowd during the set and I’m sure everyone agreed. They played a mix of old and newer songs such as “Legendary”, “Lightning in a Bottle”, “Boomerang”, “Chelsea”, “Boys you do get back at you”, “Jukebox”, “When We Were Young”, “Heart on the Floor”, “Missin You”, “Wasted”, and many more. With their newest album having dropped about a month ago and talking about still touring and making music even after 9 years, Brian told the crowd “I think I’m having the best year of my life.”
