The very first concert I remember was a Queen concert in 2005. I was 8 years old and my parents took me along with my older brother. Paul Rodgers, from Bad Company, was the lead singer on that tour. My parents made me wear huge over-the-ear headphones because the music was so loud and they didn’t want me to get hearing loss! lol
Queen was and always will be one of my favorite rock bands. I also went to the We Will Rock You show in Las Vegas and I remember the entire audience dancing at their seats and in the aisles! Their music just lifts you up!
Needless to say, Queen has had a huge influence on my taste in music and makes me happy.
I am crossing my fingers and toes that I’ll get to see Queen with Adam Lambert next year.
I was only 8 in 2005, so I was also a big Lizzy McGuire fan and went to the Hilary Duff concert that same year. Even today I would still go to back-to-back Queen/Hilary Duff concerts.
