My fantasy tour would honestly just be a bunch of bands that I’m a huge fan of – bands that I want to see perform every single night. My favorite band and one of the bands that means the most to me is Death Cab for Cutie – Ben Gibbard is my favorite lyricist and I’m pretty much always just trying to write a song half as good as anything he’s done.

One of the best shows I’ve ever seen was Mitski’s show at the Palladium earlier this year. It was one of those rare performances where I left feeling so inspired and so self-assured that this is all I ever want to do.

Another one of those bands for me is Wolf Alice. They’re the most poetic, thoughtful rock band I know. Ellie Rowsell’s lyrics sing like something out of a Shakespeare play and they constantly push me to be a better writer.

So here’s the billing: talker, Wolf Alice, Mitski, Death Cab for Cutie. And I will be sobbing watching the show every night.
