In this Preshow Rituals segment, the rock artist, Ted Poley, shares what he does before every show. You can check out his rituals, after the break.

My own pre-show rituals are pretty boring.

I view what I do as more of a contact sport than just singing.

I make sure that I eat something early in the day (can’t perform with a stomach full of food) shower, warm up my voice,take an aspirin an hour prior to showtime so I don’t die onstage at this age from a heart attack, put on my shiny stuff and then get stage fright up until the first note, then it’s on!
