The Lowdown Drifters - DREAM TOUR
Join us as The Lowdown Drifters reveals who they would want on their dream tour.
In this Dream Tour segment, the country rock band, The Lowdown Drifters, reveals who they would want on their ultimate tour lineup. You can check out their picks below:
Planning a tour with our favorite artists is something that we have talked about many times; however, in the past, we had always restricted ourselves to a certain aspect of reality. Is this band or artist alive? Do they tour North America? And most of all, have they even heard of us? With all of those caveats removed and the ability to truly plan the show that we would want to attend, all bets are off!
Mike Ness
Being punk kids who ended up playing country music, this one is a no-brainer. Mike is a legend for his work with Social Distortion, and his solo career has only cemented his legacy as someone who cannot make a bad song.
Johnny Cash
I think Johnny Cash would enjoy listening to Mike Ness, and I hope that he would enjoy listening to us. The Man in Black set the standard for cool even before he proved that you can teach an old dog new tricks—as long as it’s Rick Rubin doing the training.
The Highwaymen
This is a 4-for-1 deal, and we love deals. Johnny’s already in the building, so we might as well bring along Waylon, Willie, and Kris and really make it a party. Undeniably, a group that has inspired more music than any group not named the Beatles.
The Rolling Stones
The original bad boys of rock kept it pretty twangy back in the day and would be the perfect band to close out a night like this. Whether you are a honky-tonk woman or just looking for some satisfaction, there is no denying the impact the Stones have made on rock and roll forever.
Keep up with The Lowdown Drifters on their website, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter/X.
