“Hey it’s Colleen from The Material again checking in after our last show of the tour! Last we spoke, we were in Reno for our show at The Alley. After the set, we met a lot of new fans, and started the drive to Las Vegas. We pulled into Vegas on Friday afternoon and headed to the The Hard Rock for sound check. I think this was probably the best we have ever been treated as a band. At the curb waited some awesome stage hands ready to help us take our gear up to the venue. When we arrived upstairs, there was a full room of catering, showers, fresh towels, free drinks, it was amazing. I think we all got a taste of what it must be like to be Eddie Van Halen (the stage at the Hard Rock is covered with his amps!). After the show we headed to New York New York to hang out with the Red Jumpsuit guys and enjoy the last few nights of tour!

The next day we drove to Pomona for our show at The Glass House which was by far one of the most fun shows we have ever played. I jumped into the photo pit and grabbed on to the kids behind the barricade, it was such a cool moment! After the show we were able to go to our own apartments and sleep in our own beds, which is always nice after tour. Sunday was the last day of the tour, bitter sweet. We had a blast at The Roxy with our hometown crowd and met a ton of new fans as well. It’s Monday night and its good to be home, but we can’t wait to get back on the road!
Til next time!” -Colleen
