The Plague – DREAM TOUR

In this Dream Tour segment, David Adam Monroe of the rock band, The Plague, lets you know who he would like on his ultimate tour lineup. You can check out the feature, after the break.

My dream tour would push the boundaries of futuristic rock music. We are pioneering a genre called Future Punk, so I would want to gather other pioneers of futuristic music to celebrate everyone’s style! This would be the lineup

THE PLAGUE- We open cause we are brand new and want to watch the show! Watch us take futuristic heavy punk pop rock alternative and stick it in a blender…LIVE!

STARSET- One of my favorite bands right now. They are a creative and cutting edge sci-fi rock band, whose lights and costumes would bring a great live dynamic. I would get a bang-over from rocking my head.

CELLDWELLER- When Klayton blends guitars and synths planets implode. Check him out and you’ll hear his influence on The Plague.

DAFT PUNK- I mean, have you heard the TRON soundtrack? HAVE YOU HEARD THE TRON SOUNDTRACK!!!!!!!!!

MUSE- One of my favorite bands of all time. They are not just futuristic they are timeless. Everything about this band pushes the skill ceiling of music and inspires me. I would cherish the opportunity to tell them that.

Honorable mention:
SIRENS AND SAILORS- Something just as important to our band as music is values and my dream show would have us surrounded by friends and humble hardworking bands. Full of world-class musicians, this band has been amazing for a while but they always seem to be cutting edge. My neck would break during their set.

At the end of the day, we’d donate the proceeds to charity and eat pizza with the fans. It would be a dream tour I wouldn’t want to wake up from.
