Throwing Gravity – TOUR TIPS

Here is another set of five awesome Tour Tips! This set comes from the rock band, Throwing Gravity. You can check them out after the break.

1. Gold Bond powder and baby wipes are your very best friends!
2. Bring plenty of socks and underwear because when showers are scarce a fresh pair of drawers and a little gold bond goes a long way.
3. Individual packs of microwaveable Easy Mac are way better than ramen noodles, although I’ve eaten my share of ramen noodles.
4. Pack as light as possible, this saves precious space in the van!  Think of it this way, if you can’t fit your shit in an overhead bin on a plane you brought too much!
5. Rule 1 when you get to the venue,  find the sound guy, introduce yourself,  be prepared to answer your bands sound needs immediately and be prepared to downsize your needs to the bare minimum (especially if this is your first tour) and REMEMBER his/her name…you’ll be amazed at how much better your set will end up sounding.
