Thunderbeast – TOUR PRANKS

Our tour prank story has more to do with an endless saga of pranks on a band member of a band we were in a while back. Some would say it was a little harsh, but we had to find a way to “repay” our band member who wound up MIA the morning we needed to hit the road for a tour. It all started when we called him, and he said “Where am I?”

We show up to the meet spot, he’s nowhere to be found. We call him, and he doesn’t know where he is. If you know the prank of “icing,” you hide Smirnoff Ice in random places for unsuspecting recipients. Much to their chagrin, upon discovery, they have to chug the entire thing on one knee. Ya, we did this to him 8 times in a matter of a few days.

Next, we would stop at gas stations to fuel up and grab some snacks and drinks. 2 or 3 times, he would come outside, only to find we had “forgotten” him there. We had to space this one out a little more to keep him guessing. We always felt bad and quickly went back to get him.

Our third charm was the good ol’ sandwich game. We all played it, but man did we love to punch his sandwich more than all the rest. If you know, you know haha!

All that being said, we absolutely love this brother of ours. It was all in good fun, and he’s had his fair share of return pranks. However, this saga of pranks was for the books. Ah, the joys of driving to SXSW in Texas with your best friends.
