Tom Speight – DREAM TOUR

I’ve been lucky to tour with some great artists and visit some beautiful places..however, there is definitely still some places I would love to play and bands I would kill to share a stage with! For my dream tour, I would choose to have 3 acts on the line up including me. To make it extra special I would choose both dead and alive acts.

My headliner has got to be The Beatles! I was lucky enough to sing with Sir Paul a couple of years ago and have always been the biggest Beatles fan! I loved watching their last live show on the roof top of their Apple offices..if they could recreate that every night that would be a dream! Key songs for me would be ‘I’m only sleeping’, ‘ticket to ride’ and ‘help’.

For my alive act, I would choose Ryan Adams & the Cardinals..I’ve seen them a few times around the cold roses/Jacksonville era and they blew my mind. The chemistry between all the players it was like they were actual brothers. It’s sad that they don’t tour anymore because it would be such a shame not to hear them play ‘let it ride’ again.

So..I’ve got my dream line up.. Where do we play? Red Rocks, The Ryman, Radio Music Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Sydney Opera house. Generally anywhere with amazing acoustics.I would rather do a residency at each venue for a week than a tour. So I could properly settle into the experience.

Hopefully, some of these tour dreams will happen.
