Trees Above Mandalay – TOUR TIPS

Recently, the band, Trees Above Mandalay, wrote a set of five tips they would recommend to other bands on the road. You can check them out after the break.

1. Remember all of your equipment.  Nothing worse than showing up to the first date without it.
2. Sleep as much as you can.  You’re going to push your body as far as it will go, get some rest.
3. Have fun.  You’re doing what a lot of people will never get to do AND you get to do it with your best friends.  You should enjoy it.
4. Play as hard as you can whether there’s 5 or 5,000 people watching.  Just because you’re tired or there aren’t as many people as you wanted at the show, you can’t forget about the ones who did come. If they have fun that it was all worth it.
5. Make friends. You get to meet so many amazing people you otherwise wouldn’t have, whether they are your tour mates or fans.  You never know what kind of new perspective you’ll go home with.
