We are the headlining band. We are playing in medium to large-sized halls. Venues like Beacon or King’s Theatre, for example.
Paul Thomas Anderson has invented some kind of live cinematography experience for us. The visuals that Paul and his crew capture are displayed prominently in the hall.
Perhaps we are joined by members of the New York City Ballet, weaving their way through the band and the stage, performing Justin Peck’s choreography. They are wearing costumes designed by Alejandra Burguette. Perhaps the stage lighting has been designed by James Turrell.
If this thought experiment hasn’t already become dreamy enough, we are joined on the tour by Anais Mitchell, who is opening the shows playing solo.
