Twiztid – TOUR PRANKS

In this Tour Pranks segment, Jamie Madrox of the rap duo, Twiztid, shares some pranks that have happened on tour. You can check out the feature, after the break.

Normally on our squad, this kind of thing simply does not happen… not because we are devoid of a sense of humor, it’s more or less that we have a level of respect for each other and don’t want to spoil things with a joke. But for the purpose of this publication I will delve into my fuzzy memory banks and tell you about a time when a young Jamie Madrox had too much Taco Bell and needed to make a pit stop for a sit-down job, if ya smell what I’m brewing. We were cruising across the country at like 100mph and I asked the bus driver if we could stop so I could handle my situation. The extra pissed and overly tired bus driver said “sure…I’ll stop at the next shitter I see..” Needless to say, an hour or so had passed before we stopped at what was one of the seediest truck stops I have ever been to still to this day. There was toilet paper on the floor, shit on the toilet seats and no stall doors! That’s right, no fucking doors! So when I say I had to have a homie stand with his back to me and block me while I Poop, was real gangsta for reals. After that horror show, I made my way outside to look for the bus and low and behold it was gone.

What the fuck? The bus driver was very clear that he was going to remain parked right where he was and not move and sure as shit he and the bus were gone! I immediately jumped on the cell phone and started calling everyone on the bus and, of course, everyone I called went straight to voicemail. You’ve got to be kidding me… they left me… how is that even possible?

Not that I was some great asset or something but how do you just forget an entire person? Shortly after pacing back and forth in a frantic panic for almost a half hour my phone rings and it’s the bus driver. He said, “You done shittin’ boy?” To which I replied, “Bitch how you gonna leave me … I clearly told you I was going to be like 10 mins tops.” I stopped talking when I realized that I was on speakerphone and that the entire bus was in the background laughing… they were parked in the McDonald’s parking lot behind the truck stop the whole time… yep I had been pranked… fuck that stupid shit!
