Valaska – TOUR TIPS

This new set of Tour Tips was written by Dave Valdez, who is known as Valaska. You can check out the tips, after the break.

1. Tour in a small car.
Why: It is going to be way easier when it comes to gas. It forces you to be more of a minimalist as far as packing and instruments go. Way easier to drive and find parking compared to a van and trailer. Valaska tours in a Honda Fit.

2. Bring a book.
Why: Makes the long drives a little more productive.

3. Listen to George Carlin stand up.
Why: makes time go by way faster than listening to music and its George Carlin. You can’t go wrong.

4. Couchsurfing.
Why: Couchsurfing is great for when you are in a bind and you don’t want to sleep in the car/van…again.

5. Be open minded.
Why: take the road less traveled, try new things on the road, and meet new people.
