My dream tour would consist of a few of my favorite bands in our genre and take me places I’ve wanted to travel for a while now. Growing up, Slipknot was my go-to band for the longest time. Their music and stage show would be sick to watch nightly. I’ve always respected how they’ve morphed that music scene. The same can be said for the next band on my bill, Linkin Park. They introduced a completely new genre within the scene that bands these days are influenced by. Hybrid theory was an incredible record, but Meteora was my jam. Having close friends on this tour would be key for me so I’d have to add A Day To Remember to this list. I always have an awesome time with those guys and, in my opinion, they are touring kings. They always seem to find something cool to do no matter where they travel. Lastly, I got my vocal influence from Phil Bozeman, of Whitechapel, so they would have to be the final band on my list.
As far as the “where to” of this tour… I’m torn between Australia for the landscape or Europe for the sightseeing. I’ve heard how passionate about heavy music the fans are in parts of Europe, so playing for people who appreciate what you do is always rewarding. Eating some good food across those countries, especially Germany, would be a huge plus. I’d also love to visit the Roman Coliseum during the tour.
