While there are many bands that we all would LOVE to tour with, there are a few that we’ve all taken inspiration from individually and as a band breaking into the rock industry. I (Mary Jo) went around and asked all of the members this question, and I got some responses that made me start to get excited for our future with touring. For myself, and honestly, the other members would agree with me, that an ideal dream tour would be with the band My Chemical Romance. Not only are they my all-time favorite band, but I take a lot of personal inspiration from their lead singer, Gerard Way. On top of this, they were a huge influence when it came to writing our newest single, “Hear Us Now”. This ties me into our guitarist, Kyle Reinhart’s answer, which is another group that influenced the song, Avenged Sevenfold. They’re honestly one of the best modern hard rock bands, in our opinion. They’re just one of those bands that never left my Spotify top 10 artists in high school, right next to My Chem, of course. Emmy Barone, another one of our guitarists, chose Greta Van Fleet simply because of their inspiring take on modern rock, and everything that they’re currently doing for the scene. Finally, our drummer, Rafi Waters went with 311 because they’ve been around for 30+ years and practically have the same lineup, while still finding ways to adapt and bend genres to appeal to listeners today. The list can go on and on, but we definitely have some clear goals for the future. All of these bands have played a part in our music, and to share that on the same stage as them would be unreal.
