Wataboi – FIRST CONCERT EVER

My first concert, that I remember with clarity, is when I went to see Deadmau5 in Oslo, Norway. It was probably the most inspiring moment to me as a music fan and it definitely helped push me down the music producer path.

I was about 14 or 15 and I went with a good friend of mine and his girlfriend, at the time. We’d been Deadmau5 fans for some time and it was pretty surreal to actually be given the opportunity to go see him in our own country.

The experience was beautiful and surpassed all expectations, which were already pretty damn high. The sound quality and light show really blew a young boy’s mind right into another dimension. From then on, I knew what I was gonna do. I was gonna be the guy on the stage, controlling the music, the lights and, overall, just create moments like that for the next generation of potential artists.
