We have a broad range and eclectic mix of influences and revered artists that we would love to tour with.
Let’s begin with Tom Morello. A staple in the ears of the White Bay lads since their youths. If Tom Morello was on the tour we’d hope he’d bring both Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave. To hear Morello’s incendiary riffs live would quite literally be a dream come true. We need that dangerous headbanging in our lives.
Chris Cornell must be on the dream tour list, whether he plays solo (acoustically) or with Audioslave. As it’s a dream tour, we’ll choose both. An infectious influence on Sam as a singer, we unfortunately never saw him live, but on this dream tour, he’s up there spilling Gasoline brilliantly and showing us how to live. We imagine there’s probably not really any other rock voice out there who compares to Cornell at his gritty height in early Audioslave.
Pink Floyd’s dreamy soundscapes and long live lead passages would have to back these heavier lads. We have to hear the Comfortably Numb solo live. It’s that simple. They would then Dovetail into the clean bouncing guitars of Could You Be Loved by Bob. A hazy smokey hour would cruise by in a steady bop and blur. Of course, we could add many more to this list but this is pretty bloody great.
