WORN OUT – DREAM TOUR

In this Dream Tour segment, the melodic hardcore band, WORN OUT, reveals who they would want on their ultimate tour lineup. You can check out their picks, after the break.

Hi, I am Alex the Guitarist for Irish Hardcore band, WORN OUT, and this would be my picks for a Dream Tour for us to be on.

Cult Leader – I am a sucker for punishingly heavy bands that have their roots in somewhat of a hardcore background. I never got the chance to see these guys live but all of their records have been on heavy rotation for me for years. The choice of weird dissonant chords is something that is all over my guitar playing.

Alice in Chains – While our Singer Xander might be the youngest in the band, his musical taste is set firmly in the early to mid-90s. Alice in chains is hands down one of his all-time favourite bands! If it was possible to tour with Alice in Chains with Layne Staley that would be insane!

Deftones – These guys are a shared go-to band for all of us. We all grew up listening to their music. We recently switched to 7 string guitars and our Bassist, Brian has always said: “As long as it has the Deftones self-titled record vibe I’m in.” This should show you how big of an impact this band had on all of us.

Every Time I Die – While I am the outlier here with not being that big of a fan of this band, everyone else in WORN OUT is mad about them. We often hear that we have some sort of ETID vibe in our music so it would just be the perfect fit. Our drummer Evan would probably stage dive every night over and over again.
