Xtina Louise – FIRST CONCERT EVER

My first concert ever just happened to be two of the most iconic artists of all time— Billy Joel and Elton John. When I was a little girl, I worshipped Billy Joel. I would sit next to my dad while he would work out in the evenings and watch Billy Joel music videos with hearts in my eyes. I thought I was destined to marry him one day.

For my 6th Birthday, my dad got me tickets to see Billy Joel and Elton John in concert. Excited was an understatement. I planned out the cutest outfit possible weeks in advance and had my mom put my hair back in my signature pigtails.

At first, I was utterly shocked when Billy Joel came out on stage. His black, bushy hairstyle that I admired in his old music videos was missing completely. After shedding a few tears, I perked up when I heard that his velvet voice had not changed at all. My excitement was revitalized and the hearts returned to my 6-year-old eyes, as I sat in my dad’s lap and watched my future husband perform.
