Youngr – CRAZY TOUR STORIES

In this Crazy Tour Stories segment, the pop artist, Youngr, talks about some of his crazy moments from touring. You can check out the feature, after the break.

So my first fun experience I had was in new York. After the show at least Poisson Rouge we went across the street to a bar to get merry with some friends and family. I had many glasses of red wine (many) and got a little sleepy so decided to put my head down on a table… Didn’t realize there was a tealight candle there… Next thing I know 4 people are running over to my hitting my head cause my hair was on fire shooting green and yellow flames out! (I had put a lot of hair spray in that day… It’s hard to tame all those curls!)

The 2nd funny story is in Ibiza… We had a show at Ibiza Rocks.. had a few drinks afterward… Got close to sunrise so we thought it’d be an amazing idea to go skinny dipping in the ocean as the sun came up, so it was me, my manager, my brother and a few other people from the bar… Stripped down naked and ran into the ocean like drunken idiots… 30 seconds in, we turn around to see all our clothes being stolen by a bunch of dudes on the beach! So we swam as fast as we could back (imagine a bunch of drunken fools trying to swim as fast as they could… Naked) by the time we were back they were long gone. But they quite nicely left a trail of our clothes down the road, starting with socks, then t-shirt a few feet up, then boxers, then jeans. So at least we could gradually get dressed towards the street! They stole all our shit. Fun night though!

3rd story is how we got 2 bags stolen in Paris out of the van as we were loading out after the gig, 2 laptop’s, 2 passports. I had to leave my girlfriend behind as the bus moved on to the next country! Super awkward.
