It Lies Within – 3rd ROAD BLOG from “Get Your Feet Wet Tour” with Conquer Divide

The metalcore band, It Lies Within, just finished up their winter U.S. headline tour, called the “Get Your Feet Wet Tour,” with support from, Conquer Divide. During this tour, the band did an exclusive blog for us. You can check out their third and final entry, after the break.

Heading into the closing days of the tour, we were stoked to finish in our hometown markets. We had an amazing show at Swayze’s in Marietta, Georgia with our friends in The Funeral Portrait. After the show, we were invited to The Petra House for an amazing dinner and, of course, some showers. The Jeffries was super kind to have us stinky dudes over. lol

Next show was at the Emerson in Indianapolis, Indiana. Being our longer drive of the tour we tried to get a head start only to get told by National Guards that the highway was shut down. After about 2 hours of rerouting, we finally made it to the show. Better late than never! The show was insane and we can’t thank the fans enough.

Iggy’s in Toledo was a sweet new venue for us. The fans showed loud and proud and we had a killer show along with Conquer Divide. Excited to play our hometown venue The Machine Shop in Flint, Michigan we drove throughout the night.

We have been filming a documentary with video producer Kevin Joel throughout this tour and we can’t wait to show the world. Finally in Flint, we started off the day finalizing some footage in the heart of the city. Arriving to show we were greeted by a slew of fans, friends, and family. It’s always a good feeling ending a tour in your hometown.

Getting ready to take the stage we are told we were just about 100 shy of selling out The Machine Shop. This amped us up to put on one of the best performances on that stage. Stay tuned for more updates on this video. This tour is one we can’t wait to share with everyone.
