The Heirs – CRAZY TOUR STORIES

As the only girl in the band, I’ve learned so much being around guys all the time, especially the ones in my band. They have a humor like no other. So I have learned over the years and picked up a few things from their sarcastic and clever personalities. We were about to head out on a 2-month tour and I wanted to do something clever to one of my band mates that would really impress them comedically. After thinking long and hard, I finally got it.. So, our first show was upon us and I was ready…Towards the end of the set, Brandon and I like to introduce the band and ourselves. I had told Brandon previously that I wanted to personally introduce Dan, our guitar player. So when the time came, I introduced him and told the crowd that he was from the state we were in, born and raised. When he wasn’t. He looked at me with the strangest look in his eyes and all the remaining band mates immediately started laughing. But the funniest part was, after the show, as we were doing our signing everyone would tell Dan how cool it was that he was from there and ask him what part of the state he was from. He just stumbled around saying “where are you from? Oh, how funny I’m from there too.” So after the show the whole band was laughing at the whole situation and I figured I would do it at every show we did. So, at every show, I would tell the audience that he was from there and he would have to answer the same questions from our fans all night long. Now it’s a tradition, he knows it’s coming but every show it’s still hilarious. I can’t wait to get back out on the road so we can continue this tradition and create new ones. I think my next victim will be our drummer, Chase. That’s all for now. xx sav
